    What’s different about ArtsWeek 2010?


    ArtsWeek is now an annual event and has been moved to the last week of school as a fitting end to a dynamic and successful year. As with previous ArtsWeeks, the normal timetable will be collapsed and all students will select a pathway which will provide a creative and individual learning experience, often working with professional community and business partners, sometimes in school and sometimes off site. In response to advice given to us by students and parents, rather than a set price for all, each pathway is individually costed on a ‘pay for what you get’ model, with some free and low cost pathways. As a result of consultation with students, new pathways, such as ‘Equestrian Disciplines Experience’ and ‘A Grand Day Out’, have been created as a direct response to students interests. Unfortunately, the Bungee jumping idea had to be shelved! Your views and ideas are always welcome. Last year, 92% of students said they enjoyed the experience, while 27% said it was ‘fantastic’. We aim to improve on this every year, so everyone has the fantastic experience they deserve!
